Lazy Afternoon.

It's actually been fairly overcast for a lot of the afternoon, which has helped take the edge off the temps a little bit. Unfortunately, it's ratcheted up the humidity a bit too. No rain though, bummer.

So I watched the 3rd Harry Potter Movie this afternoon, it was pretty good, but a bit busy. You could tell they were struggling to get all the important stuff in. I'm not sure how they're going to deal with the bigger books!

I did like the little speech at the end about how your loved ones are never really gone, but live inside of you. That was nice.

Well, book 4 is heating up, back to it!

Yeah, my expectations were too high for the third movie I guess. I was pretty disappointed. They left in some stuff that was so trivial but they didn't even talk about the Marauders! We don't even know that Harry's dad is an animagi or anything. I just feel like they left out all of the important stuff and tried to make a fun action movie instead. But what do I know? Heh.

Anyway, book 4 starts off slow with the Quidditch Cup, but then gets hella-great. Happy reading!!

Actually, one of my other friends said the exact same thing as you did. The movie just leaves you at "Harry Conjured a Patronus" it's a lot more meaningful to think what that Patronus actually was though.

The first chapter of book 4 was cool, and then yeah, the Quidditch cup slowed me down a bit, but I guess we needed the background on Krum.
